The Lake Champlain Byway is a motor vehicle route that encircles Lake Champlain. It offers outstanding views of the Lake, the Green Mountains and Adirondacks, and the area's working landscapes. Some of Vermont's lakeside communities are currently considering nominating road segments for possible state Byway designation. Vermont's designation of U.S. Route 2, U.S. Route 7, and VT Route 22A would link to New York's designated Byway Corridor, which links Hudson Falls to the Canadian border.
